User Logging

As with all systems that contain sensitive privileged information it is imperative to track who is viewing the data. Information regarding file access needs to be made visible to the individuals that own and are responsible for the files and their client information.

User Logging Features

In Matrix, logging features exist that will allow an agency to determine who is accessing information across the system. The information that is logged is available to case workers and supervisors. In some circumstances such as afterhours coverage it may be considered fine to have a worker that is not the currently assigned worker access a file. In other circumstances it may not. Matrix provides the information regarding file access in a very visible and transparent way.
